KOR-KOREA CHAPTER KNIGHTHOOD

A distinguished Korean is the latest member knighted during the Knighthood and Awarding Ceremonies held at the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, South Korea, November 7.


With the ceremony led by Council of Elders member and past Supreme Commander Sir Reghis M. Romero II, KGCR, representing the incumbent Supreme Commander Sir Raymundo A. del Rosario, KGCR, he dubbed Sir Yongsoo Samuel Cho, KCR into the first degree, then exalted to the rank of Knight Commander of Rizal.


Witnessing the ceremony were the members of Korea Chapter, poineers of which were recipients of the Distinguished Service Medal (DSM).

Philippine Ambassador to Korea H.E. Lady Ma. Theresa de Vega received the Medal of Recognition, due to her immense support and patronage of the chapter and its activities.


Also receiving the Medal of Recognition is Prof. Jeom-Suk Yeon, in recognition of her work in translating Rizal's poems in Korean language.

Sir Cho is known to be the Chief Operating Officer of Infra Engineering Korea (IEK), a Korean construction firm engaged with various development projects in the Philippines.


Together with Sir Romero, Las Damas de Rizal Philippines President Lady Judy Savares-Romero and Sir Karl Lyel Lim attended and assisted during the ceremonies.
